Anoc is an Octave Editor app designed for iOS devices, offering users the ability to create and manage Octave projects directly on their Apple devices. Function files example:

Create a new file such as worker.m and define the following function:

"function s = worker(x)" "% worker(x) Calculates sine(x) in degrees" "s = sin(x*pi/180);"

You can then call this function in your main .m file by using:

"worker(2)"

In Local Mode, load a file into a variable using the load command:

"data = load('name-of-file.txt');"
